I get these types of questions a lot. Here are 3 reasons why I no longer answer 1-off questions by private messages:
1- Time management. I get a lot of emails and messages on a daily basis. If I were answering these questions I could be doing this all day, every day which means I would not be able to serve those who are really invested in their healing with my help.
2- False sense of knowing enough for complete recovery. What people usually think would help them and what really helps them are two different things. Asking general questions that often involve just the physical aspect of recovery is very common. Yes, knowing what foods to eat or what exercises to do or how long to elevate your leg or fill in the blank can help. But talking from experience, by asking these questions you’re just scratching the surface and leaving the real diamonds undiscovered because you are just too busy focusing on things that bring slow results or no results at all.
3- Implementation. We, humans, are funny creatures. We don’t value the things we get for free as much as when we invest in ourselves. When we have skin in the game, we implement big time and consequently get results. You cannot learn how to swim by just dipping your toes in the water. You need to be in the water and practice. There are 100+ of videos freely available on my website and across social media, plus numerous articles, extra free tips for people on my email list, and guess what? Those who take a step further and invest in themselves ALWAYS get the best healing transformations. Does the fee of investment make you uncomfortable? It should – because it’s gonna help you create the change much faster.
For some, this comes across harsh… or it prompts them to send me messages like “you’re just about money”. First of all, yes, this is what I do for a living and I value my expertise, so when someone wants to have a personalized solution for their challenges, I charge for it. Just like any other professional. And secondly, a false sense of knowing enough is a trap that will cost you months or years or decades of your life.
